What technology do we need to access the virtual Symposium?
Our Symposium event platform is hosted on ePly Virtual Venue. This is part of our existing membership platform. We recommend using Google Chrome as your browser for the event. As we near the week of the event, keep an eye on your inbox for a login email for instructions on accessing the Symposium site and setting your password. This email will be unique to you!
I registered but did not get the login email, what do I do?
If you did not receive your account link email, you can reset your password using this link: https://15theducationalsymposium.virtualvenue.eply.com/. Your username is the email address you used to register. If you have any issues, please email: [email protected]. We suggest you make “email.eply.com” a safe address.
How Will the Platform Work?
Once you log in, the message will state the event is not live. The event will open on Monday morning at 7 AM. From this central location you will be able to do the following – no additional registration is needed!
What do I need to do on the day the Symposium begins?
Leading up to the Symposium, you will receive an email that will contain key information you need to access the Symposium site.We will send one final email on Monday morning once we open the venue doors with technology tips and event reminders.You will just need to log in and explore the conference!
How has the format changed for the ALANYC 15th Educational Symposium?
The Symposium date was moved from one day in person in October to one week in January 2021 and will be all virtual. The Symposium will be held over five days from January 25 to 29, scheduling just two time slots (11:00am-12:15pm and 3:00pm-4:15pm) for educational sessions each day and time to visit with our Business Partners at their virtual booths (12:30pm-2:00pm).
There will be plenty of opportunities for Members to engage with our trusted Business Partners through our Scavenger Hunt and networking events.
We’ve got not one but two amazing keynotes, opening and closing, and our Labor Law update !
In addition to a roster of excellent classes to choose from, we will provide a unique interactive team-up for our Members and Business Partners that you won’t want to miss.
Will I have access to attend all of the sessions and events?
Yes, you will be able to attend all sessions and events. We have an amazing program and we encourage everyone to attend the full event.
Will I receive Zoom links for each session?
You will be able to link to all Zooms directly from the Virtual Symposium Venue!
Can I ask questions during the educational sessions?
Yes these are live sessions and we encourage you to ask questions and engage with our presenters! You will be able to use the Q&A or Chat features to ask your questions in most sessions. Some may allow for live interaction.
Can I share my virtual conference login information with other members of my team?
No. Registration is unique to each individual device. Only one device (computer, laptop, tablet, phone) will be allowed to enter the virtual Symposium.
Can I access and view recordings of any sessions from the conference?
Yes. The registration includes access to all educational session recordings.
Will sessions be recorded?
Yes.

How will my sponsorship benefits change with the virtual Symposium?
